제주에 가면 먹고 싶은 것도, 가보고 싶은 곳도 참 많지만
이번 여행은 정말… 날씨가 무지막지하게 더웠던 기억이 먼저 남네요 🥵

그래서 멀리 이동하기보다는
해변 근처에서 바로 식사할 수 있는 곳을 찾다가
알게 된 곳이 바로 **월정리 ‘호랑이네 식당’**이에요.

We visited Jeju Island for our summer vacation, and wow… the weather was extremely hot 🥵
Because of the heat, we were looking for a place to eat near the beach, without having to walk too far.
That’s how we found Horangine Sikdang in Woljeong-ri.

Horangine Sikdang is a Taiwanese-style restaurant located near Woljeong Beach.
As soon as you step inside, you can feel the exotic atmosphere—from the interior design to the food itself.

They serve not only food but also alcohol and drinks, making it a nice spot to relax after a walk along the beach 🍺
The location is convenient if you’re already spending time near the coast.

저희가 주문한 메뉴는 다음과 같아요.

• 소고기 탕면
• 매콤 흑돼지 덮밥
• 표고버섯 튀김
• 맥주 1병

어른 기준으로는 전체적으로 맛있게 잘 먹었어요 😊
특히 여행 중이라 그런지
시원한 맥주 한 병이 정말 꿀맛이더라고요.

My husband and I enjoyed the meal overall 😊

솔직하게 말씀드리면,
향신료 향이 꽤 있는 편이라
아이들은 거의 손을 대지 못했어요.

저와 남편은 괜찮았지만,
아이들과 함께 가시는 분들은
이 점은 꼭 참고하시는 게 좋을 것 같아요.

To be honest, the food has a noticeable aroma of spices,
so our kids barely touched their food.

For adults, it was fine and flavorful,
but if you’re traveling with children who are sensitive to spices,
this is definitely something to keep in mind.

표고버섯 튀김 위에 올라간 노란색 소스가 있었는데,
이 소스에 유자가 들어간 상큼한 맛이 나서
튀김의 느끼함을 잘 잡아주더라고요.

이 메뉴는 향신료에 크게 민감하지 않다면
비교적 부담 없이 드시기 괜찮은 메뉴였어요 👍

🍄 Fried shiitake mushrooms & sauce

The fried shiitake mushrooms came with a yellow sauce,
which turned out to be a yuzu-based sauce.

It was light, refreshing, and citrusy—
a nice contrast that cut through the richness of the fried mushrooms 👍
This dish felt more approachable even for those who aren’t big fans of strong spices.
