and the price should be reasonable and stress-free.
Kkongdang Boribap in Asan perfectly meets all of these expectations.

🚗 넓고 편한 주차, 하지만 오픈런 추천!

꽁당보리밥의 첫인상은
“주차장이 정말 넓다!” 였어요.
주차 공간이 넉넉해서 주차 스트레스는 없었지만
그만큼 손님이 정말 많다는 뜻이기도 하더라고요.

오픈 시간 맞춰 가시면 거의 바로 입장 가능해요.

대기 줄이 생기긴 하지만
회전율이 좋아서 30~40분 정도면
생각보다 금방 자리가 나요.

조금 일찍 움직이시는 걸 추천드려요 😊

My first impression of Kkongdang Boribap was,
“Wow, the parking lot is really spacious!”
There’s plenty of parking, so you don’t have to worry about parking stress.
However, that also means the restaurant is very popular and often crowded.

If you come right at opening time, you can usually be seated almost immediately.
✔️ Lunch peak hours
There may be a waiting line, but the table turnover is fast.
You can expect to wait about 30–40 minutes, and seats open up fairly quickly.
For family dining,
I highly recommend heading out a bit earlier 😊

🌿 들어서는 순간 느껴지는 정성과 고소함

가게 입구에 들어서자마자 눈길을 사로잡은 공간이 있었어요.
바로 깨를 직접 볶아서 참기름을 짜는 곳이에요.

이 참기름이 정말…
말이 필요 없을 정도로 엄청 고소해요.
보리밥에 살짝만 둘러도
고소한 향이 확 올라오는데
아이들도 “엄마 냄새 좋아!” 하더라고요 😊

The moment I stepped into the restaurant,
one area immediately caught my attention.

They roast sesame seeds on-site and press them into fresh sesame oil right there.

This sesame oil is truly amazing—
it’s so nutty and fragrant that it honestly needs no explanation.

Just a light drizzle over the barley rice,
and the rich, toasty aroma fills the air.
Even my kids said, “Mom, it smells so good!” 😊

🍚 보리밥은 이렇게 나와야 감동이죠

보리밥집 하면
보통 큰 그릇에 나물들이 한꺼번에 올라가 있잖아요.
그런데 꽁당보리밥은 달랐어요.

✔️ 나물은 종류별로 1인분씩 소분
각자 앞에
정갈하게 나물 접시가 놓이는데
그 순간 느껴졌어요.

“아, 이 집은 손님을 존중하는구나.”

청결함은 기본이고
괜히 더 대접받는 느낌이 들었어요.

At most barley rice restaurants,
the vegetables are usually piled together in one large bowl.

But Kkongdang Boribap was different.

and at that moment, I genuinely felt:

비린 맛 전혀 없이
보리밥이랑 정말 잘 어울렸어요.

양념도 과하지 않고
담백해서 어른들이 특히 좋아하실 맛이에요.

Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside,
with absolutely no fishy taste.
It paired perfectly with the barley rice.

저희는 보쌈 맛이 궁금해서
보쌈 한 접시를 추가 주문했어요.
결론부터 말하면
👉 안 시켰으면 아쉬울 뻔!

아이들도 보쌈은 정말 잘 먹더라고요.

We were curious about the bossam,
so we decided to order an extra plate.
To be honest—
👉 we would’ve really regretted it if we hadn’t!

Even the kids enjoyed the bossam and ate it really well.

아이들 데리고 가기에도 전혀 문제 없었어요.

but the cheonggukjang here is different.

so it’s perfectly fine to bring children along as well.
