아이들도 만족하고, 어른들도 맛있게 먹을 수 있으면서 가격 부담까지 크지 않은 곳을 찾는 게 생각보다 쉽지 않더라고요. 그래서 오늘은 주말 가족 모임, 가족 외식 장소로 정말 만족스러웠던 가성비 맛집을 소개해 드리려고 합니다.
이번에 다녀온 곳은 다이너 세종점입니다.
한마디로 표현하자면, 도심 속에서 만나는 작은 휴양지 같은 양식 레스토랑였어요.

As the weekend approaches, there’s always one question that comes up:
“Where should we go for a family meal this weekend?”
Finding a place that both kids and adults can enjoy—without putting too much strain on the budget—is not as easy as it sounds. So today, I’d like to share a great value restaurant that we truly enjoyed for a weekend family gathering and family dining.
This time, we visited Diner Sejong.
If I had to describe it in one sentence, it felt like a small resort tucked away in the middle of the city—a Western-style restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere.
🍽️ 도심 속의 휴양지, DNER
다이너를 설명할 때 가장 잘 어울리는 말들은 다음과 같다고 느꼈어요.

이 표현들이 과장이 아니라는 걸, 직접 방문해 보니 자연스럽게 느낄 수 있었습니다.
다이너 세종점은 파스타, 뇨끼, 브런치, 스테이크, 피자 등 다양한 양식 메뉴를 취급하면서도, 퀄리티를 쉽게 타협하지 않는다는 인상을 받았어요.
‘분위기만 좋은 곳’도 아니고, ‘맛만 좋은데 불편한 곳’도 아닌, 맛·분위기·서비스의 균형이 잘 잡힌 레스토랑라는 생각이 들었습니다.

After visiting in person, it was easy to see that these descriptions were not exaggerated at all.
Diner Sejong offers a wide range of Western dishes, including pasta, gnocchi, brunch items, steak, and pizza, while clearly refusing to compromise on quality. It’s not just a place with a nice atmosphere, nor is it a place with good food but uncomfortable seating. Instead, it felt like a restaurant where taste, ambiance, and service are well balanced.

One of the biggest strengths of Diner Sejong is its well-equipped private room seating. It’s especially suitable for year-end and New Year gatherings, group meetings, or family events where a quiet, independent space is needed.
Because we didn’t have to worry about surrounding tables, it felt comfortable even with children present, and it was also a great environment for adults to have meaningful conversations. Thanks to this thoughtful layout, the experience felt less like “eating out” and more like a relaxed and comfortable gathering.
👨👩👦👦 주말 가족 외식으로 선택한 이유
이번 방문은 가족 모임 겸 외식 자리였어요.
아이들 입맛도 중요했고, 어른들 입맛도 만족해야 하는 자리였기 때문에 메뉴 선택부터 공간까지 신경이 쓰였는데요, 결과적으로는 모두가 만족한 선택이었습니다.
저희는 이날 DNER 파티 SET를 주문해서 먹었습니다.
여러 명이 함께 나눠 먹기에 구성도 좋았고, 하나하나 메뉴가 튀지 않고 조화롭게 어울려서 아이들부터 어른들까지 골고루 잘 먹을 수 있었어요.

“이건 진짜 맛있다”라는 말이 자연스럽게 나올 정도로, 식사 내내 분위기도 좋고 만족감도 높았습니다.
👨👩👦👦 Why We Chose It for a Weekend Family Meal
This visit was both a family gathering and a meal together. Since it was important that the food suited both children’s tastes and adults’ preferences, we paid close attention to the menu and the space. In the end, it turned out to be a choice that satisfied everyone.
We ordered the DNER Party Set that day.
It was perfect for sharing among several people, with a well-thought-out composition. Each dish complemented the others nicely, so everyone—from kids to adults—enjoyed the meal.

주변 시선 신경 쓰지 않고 대화할 수 있어서 아이들이 있어도 부담이 덜했고, 어른들끼리 이야기를 나누기에도 정말 좋았어요.

또 하나 인상 깊었던 점은 애견 동반이 가능하다는 것이었어요.
다이너 세종점은 견종이나 크기 제한 없이 애견 동반이 가능하지만, 룸에서만 식사가 가능하다고 안내되어 있습니다.
- 애견 동반 시 예약 전화 시 미리 말씀드리기
- 과도한 공격성이나 짖음으로 소음이 발생할 경우
→ 다른 고객을 위해 입마개 착용을 권고할 수 있음
반려동물과 함께 외식할 수 있는 공간이 많지 않은 만큼, 이런 배려 있는 운영 방식이 참 인상적이었습니다.

Another impressive feature was that pets are welcome.
At Diner Sejong, pets of any breed or size are allowed, though dining with pets is limited to private rooms only.

- If excessive barking or aggressive behavior causes noise, the staff may request the use of a muzzle for the comfort of other guests
Since there are not many places where you can dine comfortably with pets, this considerate and well-managed policy left a very positive impression.
